Our Expert Staff
Kelley Penrose, PT graduated from the University of Evansville in 2002 with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees. After initially working in the acute care setting of a hospital, she found her niche in outpatient orthopedics and has over 15 years of experience in private practice settings.
Kelley has extensive training in many manual therapy techniques for the treatment of the spine and peripheral joints, fascia, and muscle injuries. Manual therapy techniques include Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, and Paris, as well as positional release techniques, and the Kinesio-taping method. She also specializes in the treatment of Women’s health disorders, including pelvic pain, incontinence, pain associated with pregnancy, and more.
Kelley, her husband Bob, and their two boys live in Osceola. The Penrose family have been in the Michiana area for several generations. Bob grew up in Mishawaka, played football and soccer for Penn High School and earned a Master’s degree from Notre Dame. They have a passion for service and actively volunteer in their church and in the community.
Helen Finnan graduated from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy in Great Britain in 1994. Since then, she has enjoyed working in multiple different settings- from working at teaching hospitals, to teaching at colleges, and specializing in neurological patients, amputees, and general orthopedics. Currently she spends most of her time treating patients at Ascendant therapy, but enjoys the opportunity to provide personal care to patients here at Penrose for a few hours a week.
Her personal life is busy- with two athletic sons she can often be found at baseball, basketball, football and soccer games. When she gets some time to herself she enjoys working out, and scrapbooking with friends. Her and her husband Tim enjoy traveling as much as possible, and make a point to sample beers and eat at whatever microbrewery is local. Sometimes they even find time for a little snowboarding or a Yankee’s game! Helen says life is short, so have fun!
Iva Green, PTA earned her degree in 2007 from Kent State University in Ohio. She graduated with an associate degree in Applied Science for Physical Therapy Assistant. During the last 12 years she has worked in outpatient orthopedic care and sports rehab settings, treating various diagnoses.
In 2008, Iva became a certified personal trainer, and is certified in the Graston soft tissue mobilization technique. She is trained in Stott Pilates as well.
Iva was born and raised in the Czech Republic, and has been living in the USA since 2002. She and her husband Shawn relocated to Indiana for his job in the summer of 2018. They have 2 children, and reside in Granger.
Maureen Rousseve has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Saint Mary's College, is an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, both AED and CPR certified, and is currently working towards being a registered yoga instructor through Yogafit.com. She has specialized training for safe prenatal and postpartum exercise instruction and teaching children’s yoga through YogaFit Kids.
Erin Hurst, MS, RDN, CD is a registered dietitian nutritionist who is enthusiastic about serving people looking to better their quality of life. Her practice provides personal nutrition practices to meet each client’s individual needs, and is rooted in the belief that food is a primary contributor to health.
Erin graduated in 2013 from Indiana State University with a Master’s of Science in Dietetics, and is also a certified personal trainer, yoga Instructor, and aroma therapist!
