Penrose Wellness Membership – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Penrose Wellness Membership?
The Penrose Wellness Membership is an ongoing care program designed to help you maintain progress, prevent injury, and move confidently after completing physical therapy or if you are seeking proactive movement support.
It focuses on wellness, maintenance, and performance—not treatment of new or acute injuries.
Who is the Wellness Membership for?
The membership is ideal for:
Patients finishing a formal physical therapy plan of care
Individuals managing chronic or recurring movement issues
Active adults who want to prevent setbacks
Clients who value consistency and clinician-led guidance
Your therapist will help determine if the membership is appropriate for you.
Is the Wellness Membership the same as physical therapy?
No. The Wellness Membership provides non-medical wellness services.
If you experience a new injury, flare-up, or condition that requires skilled care, your therapist will recommend transitioning back to regular physical therapy.
What happens if I need physical therapy again?
If you need more frequent or skilled care:
Your Wellness Membership will be paused
Membership billing will stop
You will transition into standard physical therapy sessions
Once your plan of care is complete, you may return to your membership without restarting the minimum commitment.
How does billing work?
Memberships are billed monthly using the payment method on file
A 3-month minimum commitment is required
After the initial term, memberships continue month-to-month
Cancellation requires 30 days written notice
Membership fees are separate from skilled physical therapy services and evaluations.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. After completing the 3-month minimum term, you may cancel with 30 days written notice.
Membership fees are not prorated for partial months.
Is this a discount program?
No. The Wellness Membership is not a discount program.
It is designed to provide:
Ongoing access to your therapist
Consistency in care
Priority scheduling benefits
Some members may qualify for a rate-lock benefit if they temporarily return to skilled physical therapy. This is a loyalty protection—not a discount.
What is the rate-lock benefit?
Eligible members may retain their prior member session rate if they temporarily transition back to skilled physical therapy.
Initial evaluations are billed separately
Rate-lock eligibility may vary by tier and enrollment terms
What does priority scheduling mean?
Priority scheduling provides:
Earlier access to select appointment times
Priority placement on cancellation and waitlists
It does not guarantee same-day or immediate appointments.
Do unused sessions roll over?
Unused sessions do not roll over unless specifically stated in your membership tier.
Your front desk team can review your plan details with you.
Does insurance cover the Wellness Membership?
No. Wellness Membership services are provided on a cash-pay basis and are not billed to insurance.
Is my information protected?
Yes. All care and records are handled in accordance with HIPAA and Indiana privacy laws.
Participation in the Wellness Membership does not change how your health information is protected.
How do I get started?

We’ll help you decide if the Wellness Membership is the right next step for your goals.
