Healthy Sweet Potato Side

It’s almost Thanksgiving! Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or both, this recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser. A healthier alternative to traditional sweet potato sides, this honey cinnamon sweet potato side is still the perfect sweet starch to round out your Thanksgiving meal. Plus, it’s just so easy! Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil (+more for drizzle)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375º F

  2. Lay sweet potatoes out in a single layer on roasting tray. Drizzle oil, honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper over potatoes. Roast for 25-30 minutes or until tender.

  3. Take sweet potatoes out of oven and transfer to serving platter. Drizzle with more olive oil and enjoy!
